-MONROE, LOUISIANA-
Gov. Bobby Jindal touted the V-Vehicle company as a great business venture that will benefit all of Louisiana. The companies new business model will revolutionize auto manufacturing, he said.
I think it's wonderful to have such a forward thinking business settle in Ouachita Parish. Think about the immediate positive
economic impact the company will have on surrounding communities. There are 'naysayers' however that don't believe anything will come of the V-Vehicle company. One man I know stated, "There is no way this new company can compete on the open market with existing companies." He noted that existing companies already have parts fabrication and distribution networks that the new company doesn't have.
Myself, I hope the company lives up to the hype.

Well, I did have a nice little link to the Monroe News Star web story, but they archived it and changed the link address. Suffice it to say, companies from around the state showed up boasting their technical abilities as well as their physical availabilities.
Since the link I had on this story turned out to be a dud, I decided to link the source. The following is the text from the first page I accessed when searching out the V-Vehicle Car Company:

“Louisiana's in the driver's seat. V-Vehicle has chosen Monroe as the location of its first automotive assembly facility, making them just one of several exciting companies who couldn't say no to Louisiana's customized workforce training and incentives.“
