CBS Misdiagnoses Political Pulse as Merely Jobs

While watching the CBS news Sunday evening, the announcer was sure to tell us what is driving the anti-incumbent, anti-liberal attitude of America during this election cycle. The announcer cited jobs. Let me say it´s not merely jobs.

Jobs are only a small part of America's discontent with Washington.

Another part is the pompous arrogant lawmakers in D.C. who pretend to be "for the little guy" yet create laws, regulations and programs that both kill jobs and promote government dependency.

My America is not a welfare state. It´s not a place where the government can take hard earned money from citizens, and funnel it to non-workers, unions, and overseas companies.

My America is a place where hard work is rewarded, where the law applies equally to everyone, where we understand our rights come to us from God, and where the people are in charge!

My country wouldn´t buy into flawed biased scientific reports, then cover up the flaws in order to push an energy bill (Cap and Trade). Cap and trade is simply a means to an end that will redistribute America's wealth, and make CCX investors much more wealthy.

The Chicago Climate Exchange) CCX wouldn´t exist if our government was not planning to implement cap and trade policies, one way or another, with or without our consent.

What American leaders in their right minds would ever push these kinds of policies? None that I would vote for I´ll tell you!

Unfortunately, democrats have been in lockstep with Obama´s agenda for about 2 years, and they are moving ahead with plans that will hurt America, not help her.

Americans are angry with Washington, and it´s not merely because we need jobs. CBS, next time you report about how America feels, do me a favor and tell the whole story!
