Vote Tom Gibbs (I) for Congress - LA 5th District -

I have asked around, unsuccessfully trying to discover which way the Tea Party  might be leaning in Louisiana’s district 5 congressional race.

I finally took time to look at the candidates myself, and formed my own opinion.


Tom Gibbs is an Independent Congrssional Candidate for Louisiana's 5th district.

I’m concerned our America, the America I swore to defend when I joined the Army, is in Jeopardy. Out of control wild spending in Washington, as well as continued concerted efforts to get as many people dependant on government handouts as possible is threatening our liberty, and the future of our children.

We must come together to fight the current anti-American, socialist ideology prevalent in Washington by replacing bad apples with people who share our values: Small accountable government, respect for the constitution, separation of powers, justice for all, Christian ideals, hard work is rewarded while apathy is not, that America is much more than the welfare state the current administration seems to be trying to create.


This is where Tom Gibbs comes to mind. He shares my values and I plan on casting my vote in his favor come November. I hope you will do the same.

No offence to Rodney Alexander. I think it’s time for some new blood in Washington.
