With the traveling Vietnam memorial wall being a vivid reminder of the sacrifices made on our behalf, thousands of people gathered to pay tribute to veterans (past and present) at Chinnault Avation Museum in Monroe, Louisiana.

I think this is a TT-72.. I used a TT-76 - alot like this one in the army in the mid to late '80s.
A Museum Piece and the Museum in the Background
Boneyard Museum pieces
This is a pretty large aircraft. On the other side close to the tip of the nose someone drew the picture of a bony horse with grass hanging out of its mouth. It was drawn a long time ago. I'd say the tip of this aircrafts nose was over 20 feet up.
Museum piece. We were allowed to walk through the boneyard and get good close looks and even touch them. Some of the doors were open.
we had an Airforce honor guard
The Airforce honor guard did a 21 gun salute after placing a wreath in front of the wall.
Airforce Firing Squad did a good job. I occasionally got called for funeral detail when I had to do this. We trained alot to get the timeing right. These guys did well.
Self Explanatory
Lots of Servicemen perished... and that's an understatement for sure. So sad.
