#Holliday meaning Found

Well, here we are again; another month gone bye and another famous holiday presents us with the perfect opportunity/excuse to get drunk and run naked through the streets, (save for a green necktie and a pair of green socks) yelling, “They‘re magically delicious!
I’m willing to bet that old Saint Patrick would not be too fond of how his name is honored on his holiday. I suppose in order for us to appreciate a holiday, we have to be able to enjoy it: Sweets on Easter, gifts at Christmas, sweets/flowers on Valentine’s Day, and liquor on St. Patrick’s Day.
Interestingly, children all over the country attend school wearing green on this day. Are the schools providing booze too? If not, how can children come to appreciate the accepted meaning behind the celebration?
The army taught me that you lead/teach by example. What examples are being set for our kids?
