CMA and Garth Brooks

What Country fan has not missed Garth Brooks? Tuesday night's CMA award show was graced and 'Kicked up a notch' just by having Garth as a special guest ; the purpose being to read a thankyou letter to the CMA and the world from the family of the late Chris Ledoux.

When the announcer introdued Garth, the croud applauded for quite a while., and just when I thought Garth was about to speak the croud picked it up again untill Garth said something along the lines of, 'I guess you missed me. I missed you too." And the audience really applauded and hollared. I don't know about anyone else, but I miss having the guy aroud country music. He connected on different levels and if the world would give 'Chris Gaines' a chance, the'd like him too. I could see where Garth wasgoing with that character and, the music was good... great... it was different, not the same old thing. I hope garth comes out of retirement and spices country up again!
