Melanie Massey Physical Therapy: A Great Place

Melanie Massey Physical Therapy Inc. is a great place. I’ve been working there for about 7 months and let me tell you I have observed some amazing improvements in the clients I have worked with. It should be noted that I have not been asked to write this, nor have I had this content approved by MMPT management. I am simply taking it upon myself to spread hope for the special needs adult or child in your life.

MMPT is well known for producing noticeable positive changes within reasonable amounts of time. That said, where other clinics failed to produce recognizable improvements in their clients, (from what I’ve seen) recognizable change is the norm at MMPT.


Just as Melanie Massey and her staff have been a blessing to so many, MMPT could also be the answer to your prayers.



Along with traditional physical therapy practices, MMPT utilizes some cutting edge approaches and techniques.

For example, hippotherapy. Simply put, with hippotherapy, clients ride horses with therapeutic assistance and guidance. Furthermore, MMPT has what is known as Intensive Model of Therapy, or IMOT. This therapy is much more intensive than more traditional sessions for several reasons.

First, the IMOT sessions are 4 hours long, as compaired to a traditional 45 minute session, Secondly, instead of holding these sessions two or three days per week, they are fife days a week for three full weeks!

Two other important distinctions is that our skilled therapists have the advantage of utilizing highly effective and specialized tools to aid in the overall improvement of our clients. Neuro-suits, as well as a cage system, all of which (improves strength, stamina, stability, flexibility along with (depending on the client’s level of ability) transitional activities such as sitting to standing, gait patterns and so much more. MMPT also employes a number of Occupational therapists as well as Speech Language Pathologists which in addition to the physical therapists are all located in one clinical setting. This advantage allows for some great interdisciplinary teamwork.
